Major Research Activities:

Dr. Gallinger´s laboratory is studying both inherited and acquired molecular aspects of colorectal cancer and pancreatic cancer.

His team is using a number of different approaches including small and large-scale population-based studies, gene identification studies, and investigation of tumours in mouse models.

Dr. Gallinger is currently undertaking identification and characterization of the early molecular events during the development of pancreatic cancer.
