Abstract and poster specifications
Abstract deadline: July 20, 2008.
Please note that all abstracts will be published in the respected journal "Transgenic Research". For
this reason, we will not be able to accept abstracts after the deadline! You
can submit your abstract on the registration page. If you wish, you can
register first, and return later (latest July 20) to add your abstract
to your registration page.
Abstract specifications: Please provide your abstract within the specification listed below. You can submit your abstract on the registration page.
- Title: maximum 25 words words
- Abstract text: maximum 400 words
- Authors: Name and affiliation of all authors, starting with the presenting author
Selection for oral presentation: some of the best
abstracts will be selected for oral presentation. Authors will be informed
no later then July 30, 2008, and asked to prepare a short presentation.
The presentation should be sent by email to the organizing committee tt2008@mshri.on.ca no
later then October 1, 2008.
Poster specifications: Important
note: due to the vast number of abstracts we have recieved thus far, we
had to decrease the are allocated for each poster! The area
provided will be 3x3 ft size. You will be sharing a poster board with
someone else, so please make sure not to exceed this dimension. If you
would require more space for special reason, please contact the organizing
committee. The board surface allows the use of
pins, tape will not work. Please make sure to bring your own pins!
Poster sessions: there will be one poster session
during the TT2008 meeting, but the boards will be up and accessible during
the entire meeting duration. You can set up your poster anytime after
registration, and it can remain up until the end of the
meeting at 17.00 on Wednesday. The room where the posters are displayed
will be next to the auditorium, and the doors will be open at all times.
For this reason, please don't hesitate to leave your poster up for the
entire meeting time. However, make sure that you collect
your poster at the end of the meeting, as we can not take responsibility
for posters left behind!
A prize for best poster will be awarded at the last session of the meeting.
