Toronto Centre for Phenogenomics

The TCP is an innovative, scientific collaboration between four research hospitals to operate a centralized, state-of-the-art research-enabling mouse facility. We conduct and support genetic research involving generation of mutant mice, physiological phenotyping, behavioural analysis, imaging, pathology and cryopreservation for storage and distribution.

This brand new facility is located opposite to the Mount Sinai Hospital in downtown Toronto.

During the TT2008 meeting, we will provide opportunities to visit TCP for interested delegates. Please note that a strict 48 hour  no-rodent contact is required.

TCP Transgenic Core and Specialty Recourses

CP Transgenic Core (TG Core) is an amalgamation of the existing Transgenic Facilities at Mount Sinai Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children. These facilities have pioneered such innovative technologies as production of chimeras between genetically modified mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells and embryos by aggregation method as well the tetraploid complementation assay.
